This website is an information point to bring together people with a heart for international students.
In response to God´s love for all people, our desire is to establish and advance student-led international witnessing communities which welcome international students and scholars, introduce them to Jesus Christ, and help them growing as His disciples at universities and in the world. International students´ lives are being changed as they make commitments to Jesus Christ.
Statistically the number of foreign students in Europe is increasing each year. The world of missions is coming to our doorstep. According to the UNESCO Institute of Statistics (2007) of all the international mobile students in the world, 48,3% choose Europe as their destination!
Many students come from places where it´s difficult or impossible to share the Gospel. International students are taking their learning and leadership experience and commitment to Jesus Christ with them back home. They have a big impact for the Gospel in their home countries and churches, universities, the workplace, missions and governments.
The International Student Ministry (ISM) Network is part of IFES Europe and exists to envision and equip you for Christ-centered ministry among international students. Our vision is to have an active international student ministry across IFES Europe.
